Igathe To Rejoin Vivo as Vice president of Sales and Marketing

Former Nairobi Deputy Governor and Equity Bank Kenya MD Polycarp Igathe will effective September 1st join Vivo Energy as the Executive Vice President – a newly created role in the company’s executive management.

In an announcement made by the company on Friday, Igathe will be in charge of sales and marketing across the group and will directly report to the Group CEO.

Igathe was formerly the Managing Director for Vivo Energy Kenya for four years until 2017 when he left the organization to become the Deputy Governor of Nairobi County in 2017. He later resigned that position on January 2018. Shortly after leaving the county offices, Igathe joined Equity Bank Kenya and has been serving as the Managing Director and CEO.
