The Netherlands and Kenya are working together to improve trade agreements that will benefit the people of both countries.

Livestock, vegetables, fish, tobacco, horticulture, fruits, tea, and coffee will be the mainstays of the commerce.

This was announced in the Netherlands when President William Ruto paid a courtesy visit to the country’s king, Willem-Alexander.

Kenya’s largest market for cut flowers, which brings in billions of shillings annually, is the European country.

For instance, Kenya exported commodities worth Sh61.6 billion to the Netherlands in 2021, with flowers being one of the most common products.

On the other hand, the state imported Sh46.8 billion worth of products from the country, meaning the trade is favoring the country.

They additionally discussed the country’s goals of attaining green growth and animal conservation, as well as climate change.
