Kenya Airways (KQ) has announced plans to resume direct flights from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) to Charles De Gaulle (CDG) in France from March 17.

The carrier will continue to offer its customers competitive fares and one-stop connection through its hub in Nairobi to the rest of Kenya and Africa including key destinations such as Kinshasa, Moroni, Entebbe, Johannesburg, and Antananarivo.

KQ will start with one flight a week and frequency will increase based on demand.

“The resumption of direct flights to Paris, France is in line with our plans to grow and expanding schedule as travel restrictions are lifted across the globe,” said Julius Thairu, Chief Commercial, and Customer Officer, “We remain fully committed to offering our customers onboard travel experience that has their health and safety in mind,” he added.

Recently, the national carrier also resumed its direct commercial cargo flights to India’s Delhi from Nairobi. This was in a move to help Kenya and Africa with a welcome lifeline to many local businesses that rely on overseas markets.
