Charles Kariuki, the outgoing Chairman, will be succeeded by Zuhura. She will be deputized by Michael Ogillo.

Joel Chacha, Christopher Madison, Fred Otieno, Flavia Othim, and Julia Sungu were also voted to the board and will represent corporate members.

In addition to Mukui Mbaluka and Javan Otieno, who will represent associate members and students, the board will be served by Jane Nzomo, Dr. Lydia Mwai, Steve Abeka, Jackson Gevera, and Lucia Musau as full-member representatives.

In accepting the new job, Odhiambo stated that her main goals will be to carry out the Board-approved strategy for MSK and make sure the society is well-positioned for future success.

“We are honored to be entrusted with leading the Marketing Society of Kenya. We will work tirelessly to promote the marketing profession and contribute to the growth and development of the marketing industry in Kenya,” pledged Odhiambo.

She noted that the new board should concentrate on raising the society’s profile in addition to increasing the society’s membership and revenue predictions in the upcoming years.

She expressed confidence that MSK will continue to play a leading role as a role model.

Zuhura expressed confidence that MSK will continue to serve as a leading example, adding that the new board should concentrate on raising the society’s profile in addition to increasing the society’s membership and financial predictions in the upcoming years.

Marketing Society of Kenya Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Edward Oswe welcomed the new Board of Directors and stated that the organization is dedicated to advancing the practice and profession of marketing in Kenya.

New members, according to Oswe, bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the organization and will work together to raise the profile of MSK as the top professional organization for marketers in Kenya.

“With the new board in place, MSK will continue providing its members with industry insights, networking opportunities, and professional development resources,” added Oswe.

The Marketing Society of Kenya is the national umbrella organization for all marketers in Kenya. Its primary mission is to educate and train professionals, corporate entities, and entrepreneurs while also regulating and empowering the marketing business.
