4 Steps To Becoming An Inspiring Person

At one time or another in this crazy world as we push to get to where we want to be or push to meet our potential we tend to lose emotional juice. you don’t necessarily feel lazy maybe just bit demoralized or frail, not physically again, just emotionally and these are times that you find yourself either not caring or being overly eager which leads you to being angry or aggressiveness. Times are hard times and you wouldn’t want to make a mistake that you might regret or say worse that you can’t take back. May it be to your investors, partners or even employees, which would damage relationships. These again are times you seem to find your peers doing better or your competitors flourish. As i said these are dangerous times. Now there are ways to level out your personal feelings and make sure all ties made by your brand uphold and even get better during the ‘down’ times.

1. Smile at SomebodyThis might be the hardest thing to do, but smile at someone. We are always walking in the street and a random stranger is looking at you, smile at them. When you get to your place of work smile at the people there. It feels good when someone smiles at you, because you feel seen and when you smile at someone and they happen to smile back it rubs on you.

2. Be Encouraging

During chit chat with colleagues or friends, give a word of encouragement. I know this sounds weird but you can. With the introduction of social media you can weirdly and randomly encourage someone. Through your own experience write down what you would tell yourself to encourage not only whoever gets the message but again it rubs off on you. Write it and post it on Facebook, twitter and whatsapp, because whatever you are feeling there’s is someone who is feeling the same way.

3. Give Compliments

People feel good when you compliment them, especially women and the response is just so nice. When you are in the meetings or in the office or with a friend, make sure you compliment their hair, or dressing or shoes even the car. You make someone feel good about themselves you will feel good about yourself.
4.  Surprise your friends

With your busy lifestyle, hustling hard we all have that one good friend whom we haven’t talked to in a while, take that time and call them up, treat them for lunch or invite them for coffee. This should be someone you trust or even laugh, good friends are good because they make us feel good. I happen to have a friend who is very funny and just an hour with him can transform my week. Take such time out to surprise or treat a friend.

All these drive to take your mind off your worries and it converted to being a better person. You might have noticed all these pointers have nothing to do with being by yourself or doing something for yourself, they drive at doing or saying something to others. Do to others as you want them to do to you and this is the prime gesture. So whenever you feel down, lift someone up and you will be re-inspired.
