Bayern Munich Utilizes Online Training Strategy to Avoid Covid19

Despite the fact that the state of Bavaria has not yet introduced confinement measures, Bayern Munich has taken precautionary steps as the world suffers from coronavirus pandemic by opting for online training.

Bundesliga leaders, Bayern Munich, decided to keep their players at home as they respect the WHO instructions. They are also keen to avoid unnecessary travel of players while maintaining social contact of 1.8m.

The first cyber-training session held by the players was carried out on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at 11 am when they were coached remotely with the players equipped with fitness recording clocks.

While explaining how Bayern is dealing with the coronavirus pandemic Hansi Flick, the group manager said, “It will be important that we are in contact with one another daily. The coaching staff has drawn up programs that last between 75 and 90 minutes.”

The new approach of cyber training is a safe haven to prevent widespread of coronavirus.

The programs drawn by the coaches to focus on basic endurance to high-intensity interval training.

Borich said, “the boys don’t meet on the field but online. The same regularity and discipline on the field is required of the players.”

“When the training was over, the video was far from over. The players talked with each other, exchanging ideas. That’s why the video training sessions are an important social experience at this time too.”
