The National Olympic Committee of Kenya (NOC-K) has come up with a campaign to sensitive and inform people to step in the gap to fight against corona.

The campaign theme is based on the different terminologies used in the sports field.

This campaign, targeted for social media use, began on Tuesday and involves athletes who have always led the country in major events and are active at their social media platforms.

The campaign sensitizes the need of having proper hygiene as stipulated by the World Health Organization.

Looking at the posters of the athletes, sports terminologies are in place. Obiri’s posters state that “Let’s Run” while Yego poster states, “Let’s throw Coronavirus out of our Sector.

Coronavirus has much affected the global economy and the sporting industry which is expected to lose billions in revenue.

Coronavirus has brought such great devastation as currently, Italy has suffered around 4000 deaths with 723 deaths in a day.

The death number which keeps rising is a painful experience for the families experiencing the devastation. This campaign is truly on a successful path as it ensures the targeted audience and fans become knowledgeable.
