Techno will Launch its Camon 16 Phone Kenya Next Week

Techno is preparing to unveil the Techno Camon 16 series in Kenya with the Techno Camon 16 Premier being the first to be released next month. The unveiling comes 4 months after the Camon 15 series was released which was in April this year.

The company says sales are expected to go live on September 4; however, specifications of the device are yet to be released. Some tech enthusiasts say the phone looks similar to the Infinix Zero 8 judging from the images.

The company is also marketing the launch of their next generation of camera-focused phones with a global AR conference. “It is no doubt that the augmented AR launch event will create an even more stimulating and vivid experience,’’ the company said.

The Camon series of smartphones has always had its major focus on the camera features thus the new Techno Camon 16 is expected to stick to the script.

The expected features on the new phone are a 64-megapixel sensor standing out at the back while a 48-megapixel sensor headlines the front to enhance the devices’ selfie- taking capabilities.
