Jambojet Partners with Cellulant Reward Ksh 1,000 Discount Vouchers to Local Travellers

Kenya’s low-cost airline, Jambojet has partnered with Cellulant, a Pan-African Fintech company, to reward more than 1,000 customers with discount vouchers worth Sh1,000.

The partnership is part of the ongoing “Now Travel Ready” campaign by the airline aimed at encouraging domestic travel during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“As a customer-centric airline, we continuously look for innovative ways that add value, as we endeavor to constantly improve the customer experience,” said Jambojet Head of Sales Titus Obogi adding that “the discount vouchers will allow” Jambojet “customer to save money on their travel expenses as the industry continues with the COVID-19 recovery process.”

The discount vouchers are available from November 11 to December 11, 2020, whereby 40 vouchers will be given to customers every day.

Voucher links will be posted on Jambojet’s social media accounts every day for customers to access and apply it to their payment section when booking a flight.

Jambojet has fully resumed operations to all its domestic destinations including Mombasa, Eldoret, Malindi, Kisumu and Ukunda (Diani) from Nairobi.

Cellulant Head of Account Management Rita Njeri said the company is “committed to making payments more reliable and more streamlined to ensure that our partners can continue to offer value to their customers.” She further added that Cellulant is “excited to be partnering with Jambojet because we believe that when we are connected, we can accomplish more, together.”

Since 2014, Jambojet has flown over 3.5 million passengers, 30% being first-time flyers.

The airline has introduced charter flights that will enable customers to lease their aircraft and fly to the destination of their choice.
