Pan-African organization Power Learn Project will be training 1,000 Kenyan Learners on technology development

The selected learners are set to join the first cohort of one million learners for the Africa scholarship programme dubbed “One Million Developers for Africa”.

The aim of the programme is to empower the young with technology and employability skills. The Kenyan cohort was selected after a vetting process preceded by a recent countrywide rollout.

“We are proud to bring on this first cohort of learners into our One Million Developers for Africa Programme,” said Growth and Operations Manager at Power Learn, Mumbi Ndung’u.

The learners join a community of learners with access to a network of mentors. Ndung’u mentioned that the training will enable the learners to explore new technologies and deepen their understanding of different concepts, particularly in technology.
