Nairobi International Trade Fair (NITF) is set to resume today, Monday, September 26 until Sunday, October 2 after a 2-year break occasioned by the Covid-19 pandemic.

NITF, which will be hosted at Jamhuri Park Showground in Nairobi, is a popular agriculture and trade show that has a broad base of networking and information outreach nationally and globally.

“The Trade Fair this year is expected to showcase the latest products, services, and innovations in agriculture, trade and allied sectors, offering opportunities for sales, learning, and information exchange through the ‘Promoting Innovation and Technology in Agriculture and Trade’.

“It has attracted over 200 confirmed local and international exhibitors with foreign exhibitors from China, Tanzania, Botswana, India, Iran, and Pakistan in attendance,” Agricultural Society of Kenya said in a press statement.

The exhibitors are drawn from multi-disciplinary sectors such as agriculture, manufacturing, housing, small and medium enterprises, banking, the public and private sector, hospitality, training, and technology.

There will also be a host of agricultural demonstration plots, farm machinery, and livestock displays.

“The Show visitors will also be treated to exciting entertainment at the Arena and fun fair areas,” the society added.

The show will be officially opened by President William Ruto on Wednesday, September 28, and closed by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Sunday, October 2.
