Air Zoom Alpha fly Next%, the new shoes launched has met the requirements in its design with shoe thickness of 39.5mm, one carbon plate and addition a newly added air pocket.

World Athletics is coming up with measures to ensure no “technological doping” surpasses during any Olympics. The first shoe ban imposed by the governing body especially the Vapor fly shoes used by Eliud Kipchoge in his fete for conquest, it forced Nike to adhere to the set standards.

The ban by WA last week addressed issues of technology advances giving unfair advantages to the athletes.

This ignited a wider sporting debate on where should the line be drawn between on advances in sport technology and equipment’s giving unfair advantages to sports individuals.

The sport technology has seen innovations in the swimming suits, shoes, soccer boots and tennis rackets. To maintain the credibility of the Vapor fly series of shoes, Nike CEO John Donahoe assured that it did not give athletes a “mechanical advantage” but simply during putting the materials together they innovate a way that allows athlete do their very best.
