Hotpoint Has Opened East Africa’s Biggest Store at Sarit Center, Here is What You Need to Know

Hotpoint Appliances on Monday, August 3, 2020 opened a new and revamped flagship store at Sarit Center Mall in Westlands area, Nairobi.

Sitting at 17,000 square feet, the new store is the biggest and one of its kind in East Africa and will employ 50 people.

Through the outlet, Hotpoint will be offer products from various brands like LG, Samsung, Bosch, Ariston, Kenwood, Delonghi, Von and Beurer to mention some.

The store will offer customers from all segments a new and unique experience where they can buy and get consultations on various products.

The unique experiences customers are to look forward to include a live cooking station to give the kitchen feel of the appliances, brands showcasing their latest technology features with Artificial Intelligence and a sound room where customers can test the sound and picture quality of audio and video electronics. “This store has been designed around our customer’s lifestyle by providing a unique opportunity to experience the product,” said Mr. Shailesh R. Kanani, managing director, during the store’s opening day.

Hotpoint has grown to be the largest wholesaler and retailer of consumer electronics and entertainment products in East Africa.

In a period where most businesses are finding it hard to stay open, Hotpoint continues to grow and improve its record of accomplishment offering products that are more relevant to the various market segments by updating their model line-up in line with market requirements.

In 2019, the firm moved its operations to a new Sh. 1.1 billion office block at Sukari Industrial estate off Thika Road. According to Mr. Shailesh, the move was necessitated by a growing demand for their warehousing, service and office space as demand for their products grew. The center serves operations in Tanzania and Rwanda with the highway offering easier access to various parts of Nairobi making deliveries efficient
