Super Metro Bus Set to Hire Hostesses as Members o f Staff

The Super Metro bus management has stated that they are hiring hostesses aged between 22-27 years, in a letter they issued advertising the posts.

According to the letter, the applicants are required to have a diploma in public relations, computer literate, among others.

The key responsibilities of the hostesses will include greeting customers as they board matatus, usher the customers to their assigned seats and responding to calls.

All the ladies interested in the position are asked drop their hard copy CV at the Super Metro office in Nairobi before 31 January 2020.

Despite the move by Super Metro to hire hostesses being well received by Kenyans online; some complained that the job offer was biased to ladies.

Others asked the management to first fox how they deal with customers, especially when it came to loud music played on transit.

In the wake of unemployment in Kenya, youth have resulted in doing odd jobs to place food on the table and pay bills at the end of the day.
