Peter Mugeni Appointed New Housing Finance Company MD

Housing Finance Company (HFC) Limited, the banking subsidiary of HF Group, has named its Credit Director Peter Mugeni Oduori as the new Managing Director effective 17 November.

Peter Mugeni replaces the company’s Director Legal and Company secretary, Regina Anyika, who held the role in an interim capacity.

HFC credited Oduori for his skills in formulating and implementing business strategies. it is through the strategies that have made significant impacts on the organizations he has worked for.

Oduori, a seasoned banker with 20 years of experience in leadership, Credit risk management, and operations was the Credit Director at HFC.

He holds a Masters of Science (Finance Option) and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree (Finance Option) both from the University of Nairobi.

His other workstations include Stanbic Bank Kenya Limited, Stanbic Bank Tanzania, and Standard Bank Group.

“The Board of Directors wishes to extend its gratitude to the acting Managing Director Ms. Regina Anyika who held the role in an interim capacity who now continues in her role as Director Legal and Company Secretary of the HF Group Plc,” added the statement.
