This Real Estate CEO Advises Kenyans to Be Patient, Prudent, and Persistent when Purchasing Property to Avoid Pitfalls

John Muchiri, CEO MintVilla Housing advises Kenyans that they need to learn to be patient, persistent, and prudent while in the process of purchasing any property.

Muchiri urges Kenyans to conduct thorough research before doing a purchase until they reach the property that fits their needs, budget, and has legal documentation, with the help of professionals. “Once you have your property ready for purchase, get a title of the property, establish where its registry is, then go to the registry to conduct a search,” he added”. He continues adding that “this will help you as an investor to know the legal status of that particular land that the property is constructed.”

The CEO further advised purchasers to always make sure that the property has approval and is conveniently located. All Mintvilla clients are made sure that they are well informed about the property.  John emphasized, “we consider a property is sold when the process is complete.”

The company he heads, MintVilla Housing, sells properties that are ready and properly titled with all the documentation.

One of the major projects by Mintvilla Housing is Twinfalls City, a development located along Kangundo Road in Malaa Machakos County. It is one modern property that everyone would wish to settle in. Twinfalls City Court 1 is ready for occupation and, the handover will be done in late August.

Court 2 is now selling at Ksh. 6.1M for 3 Bedroom master ensuite bungalows, Ksh. 6.45M for 3 Bedroom master ensuite bungalows with SQ and Ksh. 8.5M for 3 Bedroom master ensuite maisonettes. One can also pay a deposit of Ksh. 1.5M and pay balance in 10 months.
