SBM COO Named Top Financial Manager in East Africa

Amrit Gaya, Chief Operating Officer(COO) of SBM Bank has won the Best Financial Innovator of the Year award that was presented during the second Finnovex East Africa hybrid summit. Gayan has been recognized for his effort to implement innovative strategies that have transformed the bank into a digitally focused financial institution.

The summit, along with the award ceremony, brought together various stakeholders to discuss financial services innovations, the role of fintech and telecommunications, and the importance of using fintech’s leaps in promoting financial inclusion and excellence within the sector.
