Leading business leaders, innovators and enterprises are set to be feted on Friday, July 15 during the second annual National Business Leadership Awards (NaBLA Awards).

The awards, which are part of the NaBLA Awards Gala & Summit 2022 will be held at The Panari Hotel in Nairobi – an event which will convene hundreds of enterprise builders from different organizations across the country to celebrate business leadership and enterprise growth.

Founded by Carlstic in 2021, the awards aim to celebrate, acknowledge and award leaders and enterprises using excellent sustainability strategies to make a true impact on business, society, and the environment in the country.

The 2022 awards received 545 entries in 13 categories in business leadership, enterprise championship, philanthropy, humanitarian works, and environmental conservation. However, only 50 entries made it into the voting stage after a thorough vetting by a panel of select judges.

To participate in the NaBLA Awards, one was required to fulfil a set of qualifications set per category and fill an entry form at the awards portal.

Some of the categories this year include SME to Watch, Tour Agency of the Year, Company of the Year, CEO of the Year, Kenyan Entrepreneur of the Year, among others.

“During these unprecedented times, we need to acknowledge those among us who have remained resilient and are making an impact in the society,” says NaBLA Awards Executive Director and CEO for Carlstic Group Mr. Kimani Patrick adding that “the time is now to showcase who transformers are.”

Hosted under the theme: Racing Ahead, elections and business in digital times, the NaBLA Awards Gala & Summit 2022 will feature great entrepreneurs and investors including Full Circle CEO Mr. Vishal Agarwal, Samchi Group CEO Dr. Esther Muchemi, and Octagon Africa CEO Mr. Fred Waswa.

The event speakers will be involved in a 60 minutes’ panel discussion on how organizations can protect themselves from possible disruptions, viral and otherwise while exploring the latest available opportunities to scale and grow.

Question such as how business leaders adapt, pivot, and transform during these unprecedented times, and how one build big and stay big despite economic and technological disruptions will be answered – plus more.
