Samsung Unveils Galaxy S23 Series Smartphones

Samsung Electronics East Africa has unveiled an Sh209,999 Galaxy S23 Series to offer customers better experiences.

They include Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 that were launched yesterday at the Sarit Centre in Nairobi.

While Galaxy S23 Ultra (512 GB) will retail at Sh209,999, the Ultra 256GB will go for Sh195,999.

Likewise, Galaxy S23+ (256 GB) will cost Sh154,999 and Galaxy S23 256 GB going for Sh135,999.

The unveiling was graced by Samsung Electronics East Africa Managing Director TS Lee as well local distributors, dealers, partners, tech enthusiasts and media representatives.

“Our 2022 MX business performance was strengthened by strong sales of our premium smartphones, including sustained performance from the Galaxy S22 series and best-ever recorded foldable sales,” Samsung Africa President and CEO BS Hong said.

“I am confident that with the successful launch of our new flagship model, East Africa will play a leading role in driving the success for Africa this year,” Hong added.

The “Snapdragon® 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform for Galaxy” offers premium experience such as improved camera, fastest mobile graphics, among others.

For instance, Galaxy S23 Ultra comes with a new 200MP Adaptive Pixel sensor, offering top-quality pictures.

The Galaxy S23 series comes in four colors such as Phantom Black, Cream, Green, and Lavender.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 will be available for pre-order from 2nd to 28th February 2023.
