For the Fiscal Year 2023–2024, the Public Service Commission has announced the recruitment of 8000 interns.

The PSC stated in a public announcement on Tuesday that the government’s departments, agencies, and ministries are seeking interns.

“Public Service Commission is pleased to announce the recruitment of 8000 interns under the Public Service Internship Programme Cohort 6,” they said.

According to PSC requirements, an applicant must be computer literate and hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from an accredited university that was earned no earlier than 2017.

As per the commission, interns will carry out tasks that have been delegated by the supervisors and are mutually agreed upon during the internship.

They will also actively participate in additional tasks created for the program and document pertinent abilities.

According to PSC, the internship will last 12 months and is not extendable.

“The interns will be paid a stipend at a rate determined by the government. On successful completion of the internship program they will be awarded certificates,” PSC said.

“Interested applicants are requested to make their applications through the commission’s job portal.”
