Key Africa Tech Leaders to Speak at dx100 Symposium & Awards

Africa’s premier tech event, the Digital Transformation (dx100) Symposium & Awards (formerly CIO100), to feature key tech leaders as speakers and experts for three days of tech conversation.

The event will be held from 23rd to 25th November 2022 at the Leisure Lodge Beach & Golf Resort, Diani.

The Digital Transformation Group CEO and Co-Founder, Kelly Bentley stated that “This year’s Digital Transformation (dx100) Symposium & Awards features key African tech leaders and industry experts as speakers, well-thought-out panel discussions and interactive ideation sessions.”

The Digital Transformation (dx100) Symposium & Awards, which is held annually, is regarded as the Oscars of the tech industry. The top 100 most creative brains in Africa are honored at the dx100 gathering of top tech minds from various industries. The 14th edition of the event will focus on catalyzing C-Suite engagement in the digital transformation.

Phyllis Migwi, Country General Manager, Microsoft, George Njuguna, Director of IT Services and CIO, Safaricom Plc, Catherine Muraga, Managing Director, Microsoft Africa Development Center, Dan Kwach, Managing Director East Africa Region, Africa Data Centres, and Nawaz Bagha Territory Lead, VMware will be some of the prominent speakers at the event.

Other notable speakers included Dennis Volemi Group CIO, Equity Bank, Moses Okundi Chief Technology Officer, Absa Bank Kenya, and Kenneth Ogwang, Head of Digital and Technology, Eastern and Southern Africa, Diageo. Ogwang was also the 2016 CIO of the Year recipient. The cloud computing and virtualization technology business VMware, which is partnered with DTE, and the international software giant RedHat are among the major sponsors of this year’s dx100 event.

The event will include keynote presentations, influencer panel discussions, case studies, and a gala dinner on the beach to honor the winners.

Keynote presentations will cover topics such as Navigating Today’s Wave of Fast Change, From Digital Transformation to Digital First, and How to Accelerate Results Through AI-Driven Innovation.
