Ariel Foods Kenya launches In Nigeria to tap the Western Market

Ariel foods firm has looked beyond East Africa and recently opened up a processing farm in Alaro, Lagos Nigeria in a bid to grow their firms, open new opportunities and growth in market.

Ariel foods, a sister company to Insta Products (Kenya), seeks to produce Ready -to-Use Therapeutic Foods for malnourished children and to supplement the diet of persons with special nutrition requirements for the larger West African market targeting a slice into 400 million people..

The chairman, Dhiren Chandaria said, “the new investment will boost food security in a region that experiences some of the worst forms of malnourishment among children and the attendant problems.”

This was during the launch of Alaro City which is being developed by Rendeavour, the investor behind the Tatu city.

Ariel foods is a Kenyan firm that produces food for malnourished children for UNICEF and World Food Program among other global clients.

Not only is Ariel Foods fighting a market share in Nigeria, other Kenyan firms are coming up like Sana Industries, Universal Homes and Kenol.
