RUPHA Partners with Smart Applications to Provide Automated and Affordable healthcare to Kenyans in the Counties

Rural Private Hospitals Association (RUPHA) intends to provide automation and affordable healthcare services by partnering with Smart Applications.

RUPHA is an association of privately owned medical centres, outpatient centres, ambulatory care centres, rehabilitation centres, nursing homes, diagnostic centres and hospitals with coverage within all 47 counties in Kenya.

In a statement, the Chairman of RUPHA, Dr. Brian Lishenga, said the two organizations have signed  “an MoU that will enhance a working relationship aimed at improving the delivery of healthcare access in the country.”

Smart Applications is Africa’s Leading Company on biometric technology and their partnership with RUPHA will enhance access to healthcare. In addition, by providing innovative technological solutions, it will help the government’s efforts to combat COVID 19, other pandemics and outbreaks in the future.

This partnership will automate healthcare by the implementation of systems, mobile applications which provide telehealth services and promote insurance growth as mentioned by Mr. Harrison Muiru, the group Managing Director at Smart Applications.
