A New Dawn as KBL Unveils New Logo amid 100th Anniversary Celebrations

Kenya Breweries Limited, the leading brewer in East Africa celebrates 100 years since its incorporation in Kenya in 1922.

As part of the centenary celebrations, the company has unveiled a new brand logo to represent the new era for the business as it enters a new century this year.

Designed by Ann Catherine Njuhi, a 23-year-old former student at the Buru Buru Institute of Fine Arts the new logo depicts modern, vibrant imagery that embodies the firms evolving corporate character and style.

Njuhi won the competition KBL Still Got Skillz. Logo contest where more than 600 youth between 21 and 25 submitted various designs.

The new generation logo encompasses the initials of the business name creatively merged with 10 barley leaves symbolizing the 10 decades since KBL was founded.

It will roll out across the company’s full product portfolio nationwide.

According to the company, the KBL corporate brand logo has evolved over time and was redesigned almost a decade ago and the new logo will reflect forward in the company’s stationery and communication material.
